Jesus Beheld (Not Just Talked About) Makes Us Feel Like We’re Dead

“When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead.” - Revelation 1:17 ESV

The glory of Jesus Christ is everything man likes about everything inside and outside of himself, multiplied by infinity, and free of any impurity or darkness. It says of Christ that all things were made by Him and exist for Him. Everything displays something of His glory, and each individual thing only displays part of it, and that imperfectly. The excellency of every made thing is found in one Man. The joy of life is to follow the ray of the beauty of a thing back to its Source, and discover true beauty and light.

The deepest feeling evoked by landscapes, relationships, stories, food and everything else, are only a whisper of the feelings that are evoked by a single Person. It says that at the Father’s right hand is fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore. This is why after seeing all things in all places, a Christian truly desires to go to one place to behold one Man.

Jesus Christ is at the right hand of the Father. He is our pleasure forevermore. Let’s make the Throne of Grace our home.

If you have something you want to share about the beauty of Christ, please comment below. I’d enjoy hearing your thoughts and questions.
